Myself my daughter and our miniature poodle loved the grounds especially as we had access from our room to pop out whenever we wanted with our fur baby. The room was very stylish and was very clean. My daughter loved the sweets left for her and our fur baby loved his little gift left with a new ball for him which he loved playing with on the evening. There was plenty of parking at the property and we got a very warm welcome on arrival. Our fur baby also loved the fuss he got from the staff. It was a perfect hotel to travel with our fur baby. This is the reason we chose this hotel. Thank you for making our stay so welcoming.

The staff were really lovely ,especially Eshitha who went the extra mile to make our stay as comfortable as possible and we really appreciated that. The hotel is spotlessly clean and well maintained . Our room was spacious and so was the bathroom. We ate in the bar and the food didn't disappoint, it was well presented piping hot and not over priced. The breakfast was first rate and there was plenty of it. The grounds are well kept and pretty. The car park is large and is close to the reception. The location of the hotel is ideal for getting to all of the things the Lakes have to offer.

The weather was unbelievable for March. The location close to Ambleside was perfect. The rooms were modern and spacious with good tea facilities and toiletries and great shower and bath. The room was very clean and regularly serviced and the bed was large and comfortable. The £25 rate per stay for a dog was very good (often the charge elsewhere is per night) and they provided a doggy welcome pack. Dogs are allowed in most areas except for the main dining area. The room was very quiet and had plenty of storage. Breakfast was a highlight. Plenty of parking.

The staff were always very welcoming and helpful. I think they are the best asset of this hotel. The location is very good in the Lakes District, between Windermere and Ambleside, and set back from the road, so quiet. The hotel was very clean, with contemporary furnishings. A good choice at breakfast, the food was excellent and served without much of a wait. We loved visiting the highland cattle behind the hotel and seeing them up close.

My family and I booked a stay to celebrate our parents wedding anniversary. The hotel Manager, Paul, and all the staff members were absolutely fabulous. They arranged a private dinning room for us all and were very accommodating. The meal was superb and the service was equally fantastic. Our room was very nicely decorated, modern, clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was great with a wide variety of options to choose from.
